26. 6. 2015 - Klášter Teplá
7 let probíhala rekonstrukce jižního křídla kláštera Teplá z grantu Evropské unie. V červnu se uskutečnilo slavnostní otevření za účasti významných hostů, kardinála Duky, biskupa Radkovského, ministryně Šlechtové, opata Lobkowitze. Já jsem k této příležitosti vydal v nakladatelství JAKURA reprezentativní publikaci, do které jsem nafotografoval na 150 fotek. Kniha má formát A4, 250 stran.
Historie.
Klášter v Teplé založil v roce 1193 blahoslavený Hroznata. Po staletí býval centrem vzdělanosti i důležitým hospodářským subjektem. V roce 1950 byl ale stejně jako další kláštery v Československu uzavřen a sloužil 28 let jako kasárna Československé lidové armády. Pouze kostel Zvěstování Páně a knihovna byly od roku 1958 zpřístupněny. Po odchodu armády budovy chátraly. Teprve v roce 1990 byl klášter navrácen řádu premonstrátů.

He was born on 19 December 1946 in the municipality of Ředhošť in the Litoměřice district. In 1996 he graduated from the Secondary School of Civil Engineering in Mělník. The following year he commenced studies at College of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. He was accommodated at the Strahov campus, where he became a
co-founder of the Strahov Fotoclub. It was here where he conducted exhibitions for the first time.
